Tokonomy

Closed-loop service credits

Closed-loop token economy

Tokonomy manages project tokens, subscriber packages and usage limits. You take payments on your own platform; Tokonomy issues the credits and records every use.

01 // Principles

Three rules it keeps

  1. 01

    Closed-loop token economy

Airtight automated balance sheets for internal app utility ecosystems without blockchain variables.

  2. 02

    Permanent balanced ledgers

Enforcing limits, verifying precise execution costs, and performing absolute nightly data reconciliation.

  3. 03

    Institutional integrity

A zero cash-out backend infrastructure built for high-performance scale.

02 // How it works

From purchase to balance

  1. 01

    Confirm

Your platform takes the payment, then confirms the purchase to Tokonomy.

  2. 02

    Issue

Tokonomy issues the package's tokens, once for each purchase reference.

  3. 03

    Use

Your service reserves tokens before the work and settles what was delivered.

  4. 04

    Record

Every balance change lands in a double-entry ledger with an audit trail.

03 // What you control

Every rule in one place

  • Packages

Subscriptions and one-time token packs, with versions that stay frozen once published.

  • Usage limits

Allowances, allowed values, concurrency and quantity limits, with every refusal recorded.

  • Expiry

Tokens that expire first are spent first.

  • Budgets

Block or warn when a budget is reached.

  • Reconciliation

Nightly checks open findings that close only with a reason.

04 // For developers

Called from your server

Your server calls Tokonomy with a project key. Reserve before the work starts, then settle what was delivered.

Delivered units are charged at the reserved price, never above the hold. Settling zero releases everything.

Quantities travel as decimal strings, so they stay exact.

05 // Questions

Questions, answered

Who collects the payments?

You do, on your own platform. Tokonomy records the confirmed purchase and issues the tokens it pays for.

Can tokens be cashed out or traded?

No. Tokens are service credits, spent inside your product. They have no cash value and cannot move between people or projects.

What if a request is sent twice?

It counts once. Each purchase reference is confirmed once, and each reservation is settled once.

How do my servers connect?

Over the HTTP API, with a project key. Your server reserves before the work and settles what was delivered.

How many projects do I get?

One to start. When you need more, ask us and we raise your limit.
